Get to Know Mrs. Drager I have been teaching for over 17 years and absolutely love it. I am so honored to be a Davis Drive Dolphin for the eighth year! I was born and raised in California. I graduated from Chico State University and then earned my Masters Degree from San Diego State University. In 2007 my family and I decided to move across country to this beautiful state of North Carolina. We are all thrilled to be living here. I have two children - Sophia and Grayson. Sophia is a freshman at University of Georgia majoring in chemistry and Spanish. Grayson is a freshman in high school and loves to work with computers. I have an adorable dog named Cali. When I am not working, I love to go shopping and cook. I am becoming a "foodie"!!!!
Looking forward to a fabulous year! P.S. I have the best co-teacher in the world -- Mrs. Ross!!! |
Get to Know Mrs. RossI am glad to be back into the classroom again! After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, I taught at Northwoods Elementary School in Cary for 7 years. During those 7 years, I taught 3rd, 1st & 4th grades. I left teaching to start our family. My husband and I have 4 children: Alex is a freshman at Appalachian State University studying Business, Avery (my only daughter) is a junior at GH and is in the marching band (trumpet), Anson is a freshman at GH and enjoys band (sousaphone & bassoon) and all sports, and Asbury is my 7th grader at DDM and enjoys baseball & video games. After 17 years of being a stay-at-home mom and 4 years of substitute teaching, I decided it was time to continue my career as a classroom teacher... but I didn't think it would happen as fast as it did! I LOVE DDE (third year here) and cannot see myself anywhere else! Plus I have the BEST co-teacher to work with -- Mrs. Drager!!!
